Some of the other images that I have been considering that are a little different could include some well know West Australians. I was thinking about Rose
Porteous's house in
Mosman Park. Or at least where it used to be. The now vacant lot could be the site of some new project employing some of the image creating features that this blog is exploring. Maybe some sort of housing project with a facade re creating an image of Rose herself. There's
defiantly some
classic shots of her around. It could work well as a sort of nod to the context and the history of that particular site.
Or maybe that's a little harsh. There are some other option I thought of as well. Someone that has a really easily recognisable profile would be Brian Bourke with his signature panama hat. I'm not sure what sort of building his profile would suit or if anybody would consider using it at all. But I think once you saw it you'd know what it was. It could be a newspaper factory of office building or something like that or maybe its a bad idea. imagery
